TOO fracking funny!

I saw this on a guy's online profile and just HAD to reprint it here for your enjoyment!

"I don't care what you look like, how much you weigh, how big your arms are, how long your dick is or whether you want to show face or not. Just be nice and I will be nice back. Eventually, we will ALL look like Barbara Bush. Nice people will still have people who love them. The rest of you will be alone."

Fan-freaking-tastic!

2nd try...170g of Protein

Talked with a trainer lady (I may hire her for a few sessions if she's available) about nutrition and working out while waiting for a smoothie the other day.

Apparently I am wasting my time if I don't get about 8 glasses of water before I come into the gym and I have got to double my protein intake if I expect to gain any mass. I think I have an athletic body, but I would love to have a bit more mass on me before softball season starts.

And thus (though I have known this information before) I once again am going to see how things can work out for the month of January attempting to eat this crazy amount of protein!

Already, I think I am tired of protein shakes. :)

And, for those of you that have been paying attention to my life, don't read into this song I found. Its just something I really liked and though I should share!

The weather this month is in total flux. It was actually 70 degrees. I keep going from heat to air conditioner, sometimes switching twice a day! I can't WAIT until spring/summer. I miss feeling the hot sun on my body and working in the backyard and getting all sweaty and sawdusted.

I am going to take some pictures of my master bathroom as I may begin demolition of it this weekend. Sean is away attending his grandmother's funeral so its a nice time while he's out of the way :) LOL :) Just turn on the music and swing that hammer!

Spring in Winter

My goodness! Today was a FANTASTIC day. The weather was about 70 degrees around the time I jaunted up to the gym for a workout with Nick (my gym partner). The college boys were out (too cool for shirtless yet, darnit) but the shorts and flip-flops were everywhere you turn. Too bad it won't last! Its still the middle of winter here, BUT it was a nice break from the crazy cold weather we have had!

For those of you that weren't aware, Gabby, the Super-Pug had a burst eyeball (that's right...read that again). It is, however, healing nicely!

She's growing fast and is a nice lap dog. She does well sitting on your lap and just watching TV. Unfortunately...now is the time I have to try to house train her. UGH! It's been 10 years since I've had to do that! I had to Google for it :)

So Sean and I are talking. Its really tentative and delicate, and too soon to say anything either way. Just have to get through the fear I think :) Either way, I would always doubt if we didn't try it again. It's worth the risks I believe. I hope that we both give it a chance because I think what we have is good and worth being open to. We're taking it slow, which is good. I want him to have some space so that he can miss me ;)

I do have to admit, though. It feels a bit quiet around the house. I got really used to having someone to joke around with all the time. Today, I am spending time cleaning my spare room (it totally needs some help) and have some good 80s tunes blaring, filling me with some good energy.

HAHAHAH! I'm hearing...RED

What a freaking idiot I am! So I moved my spare 32" Sony WEGA TV into the bedroom to watch TV at night (I need distractions nowadays) and I kept hearing this static. What was odd was that it got worse when there was something red on the screen.

So I figure there is some kind of interference in the speaker and the tube was causing it to static. I went to Best Buy and to Target to look for a set of speakers. What I found was an RCA adapter to hook up to my computer speakers and to use those.

When I went to install this new cable, I found I had plugged the RCA audio cables (white and red) into side by side slots. The white one on the L and the red one...IN THE RGB (component - red) out! Both of the outputs are red...but I just had to laugh at myself (out loud even!).

So in the end, when the video red would activate, it would sent a signal to the speakers! The more red...the more static!

So I made myself visit this web page. [Link]

Have a Little Faith

I was discussing my situation with an online buddy the other day and he gave me some serious words of wisdom. He told me that he and his partner had gone through the exact same thing early on in their relationship...and they've been together for 8 years now!

He told me that I am an amazing person and that he'll come around. Just let things go for awhile. In order to miss someone, you do have to be away from them. :) Its hard, because I want to knock him over the head and say "Wake up" because I don't think a relationship with me is really THAT scary!

But, I shouldn't have to convince anyone to be with me. Makes me feel like I have no confidence. So I'll invest my confidence in the facts:

I don't hit, I don't smoke, I don't cheat, I try to never be mean, I have my own job and car, and DAMNIT I think I'm a sexy man. Add to that a fun personality and a very caring heart, and I'm almost perfect *hiding as lightning flashes outside* :)

So I hold onto a little faith. When he's ready, all he has to do, is cry for help and I'll be there.
